This week we saw two new members in the winners circle (see Winners Circle at Gasserracingseries.com). In the Gasser class, it was Bill Curtis driving his 1958 Anglia (the Clown Car). There was no clowning around from Bill as he took the win over Ron Kirker, driving the Kirker Bros 409 powered 1931 Ford. In the Mod class, we saw an all “Nova” final. The win went to Jerry Croston in his 1971 Green Nova. This was Jerry’s very first race ever at NYIRP. It will be a memorable one. He took the win over John Rossman, driving his 1969 “Nova Caine”. The day’s racing can be viewed on our Facebook page, thanks to videos from Steve Quay.
